Ever since I was a little kid, I've wanted
to go to Australia. I saw "Mad Max" and later "The Road Warrior" when I
was about 7 and imagined how awesome it would be to go to a country
where everyone drove badass cars with guns mounted on hoods and raced
in the desert as fast as their rides would let them. I later learned
that nobody in Oz has a car like that, but came to appreciate
other things this great country has to offer. First off, it has one of
the 7 Wonders of the World right at its welcome mat, the Great Barrier
Reef. I started SCUBA diving in '96 but never imagined I'd get the
opportunity to see what is arguably the greatest dive spot on the
planet. I bought a new camera and special underwater housing just for
this vacation so I could capture everything it had to offer. After
finishing the dives up in Cairns, I took plenty of other pictures above the
water so I'd remember everything I loved about Australia!
